Fine Artists - Sharon MacKinnon

Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Sharon MacKinnon summered at the French River before settling on the Georgian Bay with her Family. Both “homes” continue to play an integral role in her expressions of the Canadian landscape.

Sharon received her Master of Education from the University of Toronto and has over 25 years of teaching experience. She is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Artists and the founding education chairperson of the Huronia School of Arts. She especially enjoys painting and sketching “ en plein air” from her kayak.
